The COMARGE project of the Census of Marine Life was published in a special issue of Deep Sea Research II. The special issue, titled "Deep-Sea Benthic Ecosystems of the Equatorial African Margin: The Multidisciplinary BIOZAIRE Program - A Contribution to Census of Marine Life" discusses in detail the habitats that surround the West African Equatorial margin, including the areas off the Congo and Angola, specifically.
